  2. Like us, follow us, and get notifications on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/CRMWSTOPMTR.
  3. Join us for Mountain Justice events.
  4. Educate yourself and others about mountaintop removal.
    • Request a speaker. CRMW members often travel to educate schools, churches, and other groups about mountaintop removal and life in the Coal River Valley.
    • Visit us. If you are interested in coming to see mountaintop removal firsthand, or coming to visit with us, we are happy to host you, but ask that you please give us at least 2 weeks notice. Also, check out Appalachia Mountaintop Removal Tours for more information about tours of mountaintop removal sites in Kentucky for alternative spring breaks, church and school groups.
  5. Volunteer with us. We rely on a dedicated network of volunteers to make our projects happen and to raise awareness about mountaintop removal.
  6. Intern with us: We are in need of qualified and motivated research students to help with our work. If you are an undergraduate or graduate student, check out our research opportunities.
  7. Donate to Coal River Mountain Watch.
  8. Contact your US Representative and Senators and ask them to sign onto the Appalachian Community Health Emergency (ACHE) Act (http://acheact.org).
  9. Reduce your energy use! Check out the Kilowatt Ours website to learn about the connection between your energy use and mountaintop removal mining and climate change — and learn ways to reduce energy use in your home, your work, and in your community. It will save you money and it might just save a West Virginia mountain.
